2026/2027 RISE Project
The Norfolk Writing Project has received DfE funding to work intensively with a small number of schools between September 2026 and April 2027.
The project includes a programme of continuing professional development (CPD) and individual consultations with writing expert Sally Rundell. This page provides information for participating schools.

RISE project training dates:
- 1 or 2 October 2026 – Introductory Conference
- Three afternoon CPD sessions:
- 12 or 13 November 2026 – Planning Sequences of Writing
- 14 or 15 January 2027 – Teaching Writing to Meet the Needs of All Pupils
- 4 or 5 March 2027 – Developing a Writing Curriculum
- 18 or 19 March 2027 – End of Project Conference
