“When this year group joined us in 2020, we were all wearing masks and unable to do many of the things we ordinarily would do as a school. But this year group rose to the challenge and have had an excellent five years with us, achieving this year our highest ever GCSE grades. It has been a particularly good year for maths, but also good to see the humanities making a strong contribution with a significant improvement in their results this year. We are very much looking forward to welcoming many students from here and further afield into the Sixth Form, and we know that those leaving us to begin college courses and apprenticeships will continue to go from strength to strength.”
