Another high performer was George Davis, who attained an A in History, a B in Maths and a C in Biology as well as an A* in the Extended Project Qualification.
Diogo Cantiga was another top performer, with an A* in Portuguese and a distinction in ICT, and was one of a number of pupils with English as a second language who achieved positive results and made strong progress this year.
Thetford Academy pupils are leaving to take up places in a number of Russell Group of top 25 universities, including Nottingham, Manchester, York, Queen Mary's, Goldsmiths, UEA, Essex and Sussex.
They are studying a wide range of courses including forensic science, politics, interior design and architecture. Nearly 80% of the cohort are heading to university and 100% of those that applied have successfully gained a place.
