Early Education Funding
Every child is entitled to up to 15 hours per week early education funding for 38 weeks per year/term time from the term following their third birthday until they start school. This gives a total funded provision of 570 hours per year. For children attending daily places the nursery will provide a stretched offer whereby families can stretch their child’s entitlement over the full year; 47.5 hours per calendar month would be deducted from the monthly invoice. Due to the stretched offer, families can claim up to 11 hours per week, all year round.
Extended Early Years Funding (30 hours' free childcare)
If eligible, children and their families may be able to claim on average an extra 30 hours' free childcare. We are offering this funding through our stretched offer which means families can claim up to 22.25 hours per week, all year round.
There are no registration fees for the nursery.
There is a £50 deposit payable to secure your child’s place when a space has been offered prior to their start date. This deposit will be refunded to you on your first month’s invoice.
If you require leave from the nursery for 2 - 4 weeks a £50 retainer fee will be required to reserve your child’s place. This fee will be refunded to you on your return. However, if your child does not attend nursery after the stated return date, then your retainer fee will be held by the nursery unless otherwise informed. If we do not hear back from you after four weeks then your child will lose their nursery place.
Siblings of children already attending the nursery will be offered a 10% discount on fees paid.
Amendments to funding during claim period
If there are any amendments to funding during a claim period, these will be added to the next invoice.
Fees will be invoiced monthly in arrears. Invoices will be issued on the 1st of the month and will be due for payment within 14 working days of the date of the invoice. If an invoice is not paid by the due date a 10% late payment fee will be added to the following month’s invoice. Invoices are to be paid by BACS, standing order or bank transfer. Invoices or part of can also be paid using childcare vouchers.
It is essential that you quote your account number as a reference for all payments. This will help us identify your payment and credit the correct account. Your account number can be found on your invoice.
Monthly fees are calculated by multiplying the weekly fee by 50 weeks and dividing by 12 calendar months. There is no charge for days when the nursery is closed over Christmas or for bank holidays throughout the year. However you are still charged if your child is absent due to illness or holiday.
Any additional sessions provided on an ad-hoc basis will be charged in arrears and added to your next invoice.
Late collection charges
Whilst the nursery supports working families and understands the difficulties of balancing work and family commitments, it reserves the right to charge additional fees for children who are repeatedly collected late. A fee of £1 per minute will be charged. This will be charged in arrears and added to your next invoice.
A minimum of four weeks' notice or four weeks' fees in lieu of notice is required from the parent/carer to terminate a child’s place or reduce the number of sessions normally taken by the child.
