A fantastic pedigree
Inspiration Teacher Training has been born out of the Inspiration Trust, one of the country's most influential and dynamic academy groups.
Formed in 2012, the trust has been at the forefront of radical new approaches to improve education and built up an impressive track record in improving existing schools and launching high-quality new provision.
Our achievements include launching the country's first maths and science specialist sixth form. Housed in a historic former fire station in the heart of Norwich, Sir Isaac Newton Sixth Form has become one of the region's most popular places to study and been ranked above schools like Eton and Harrow for its STEM provision.
It also jointly leads the Norfolk and Suffolk Maths Hub, supporting teachers across the region and encouraging innovative approaches to learning, and is a key partner in the Norwich Science Festival.
We have turned around several schools, including taking Hethersett Academy from special measures to Outstanding in less than three years. It now consistently has among the county's best GCSE results and Progress 8 scores, with a rich sporting and cultural life that goes well beyond teaching to the test.
The Trust has a deep interest in research and curriculum, and organised influentical American academic E D Hirsch's first lecture tour of the UK. Our education team has advised governments around the world on education, and includes some of the best thinkers in the sector today.
