Thetford Academy is looking for an inspiring, innovative, and dedicated teacher of design and technology to help our pupils achieve their full potential.
We serve a busy and growing market town, with a broad academic and vocational curriculum from Year 7 through to sixth form. The right teacher will share our belief that all pupils have the right to succeed and to have access to the very best education. You will be able to enthuse, engage, motivate, and challenge pupils in this popular subject.
We are part of the Inspiration Trust, twice ranked as the country’s top family of comprehensive schools for pupil progress to GCSE, and work closely with our fellow schools across the region. We are committed to offering excellent professional and learning opportunities for our staff. Our 2014 Ofsted inspection judged the academy to be Good, with Outstanding leadership.
Our location close to the A11 makes us easy to reach from Norfolk, Suffolk, and Cambridgeshire. The rich pine forests and heathland of the Brecks are close by to help you relax in your time off, with good connections both to London and to Norfolk’s fabulous beaches and Broads.
