Sweet sounds of Jam Band liven up lunchtime

Sir Isaac Newton Sixth Form’s first ever ‘flash busking’ band entertained students and staff with an impromptu lunchtime gig as they raised money to buy new school instruments.
The sixth form’s Jam Band – featuring Cosmin Mudure (piano), Ryan Chan (guitar), Saif Khan (drums), Alexandra Rimington-Hall (vocals and guitar), and Gabriella Vincent and Natalie Kay (vocals) – played a string of pop hits to a packed school hall in March.
Pastoral mentor Mr Rogers said: “They were all amazing and did themselves proud, performing to a busy hall full of students and staff.”
Pop-up performances are set to continue through the summer term, with occasional special guest appearances from staff members to look forward to.
