From Willy Wonka to the Queen of Hearts, the classrooms at Norwich Primary Academy were packed with storybook favourites as the school celebrated World Book Day 2019.
Pupils came to school on Thursday, March 7 dressed as their favourite book characters and brought their best-loved stories to share.
Staff got into the spirit as well, with impressive costumes including the Cat in the Hat and the Very Hungry Caterpillar.
The children also enjoyed a special book-themed lunch including Harry Potter's magical chicken pasta bake, Peter Rabbit's yummy veggie lasagne, and Winnie the Pooh honey buns.
World Book Day is held every year to celebrate books and promote reading in schools across the country.
