Pupils aim sky-high on activity trip

The sky was the limit for pupils from Norwich Primary Academy as they tackled high-altitude activities on an adventurous school residential trip.

The Year 6 pupils tested their head for heights on the climbing wall during a visit to Kingswood activity centre in Overstrand, north Norfolk in September.

They also took on the ‘Jacob’s ladder’ high ropes challenge, working together to climb a series of giant rungs with ever-increasing gaps.

Other highlights of the week’s action-packed schedule included 15-a-side volleyball and a hike up one of Norfolk’s most famous hills – the 207m Beeston Bump.

Teacher Angela Neal said: “The trip is a fantastic way for our Year 6s to kick off their last year at our school.

“Along with the opportunity to try new activities, they’ve really boosted their confidence, teamwork, and communication skills.”
