Talented dancers from Norwich schools entertained with 'magical' performances at a fairytale-themed show.

Pupils from Norwich Primary Academy, Hethersett Academy, and Jane Austen College enchanted a packed crowd at the Norwich School Sport Partnership’s ‘Once Upon A Time’ show, held at Open on Wednesday, 22 May.

Norwich Primary’s performance featured Peter Pan, Wendy, Tinkerbell, Captain Hook, and the Lost Boys in a routine inspired by the much-loved children’s story.

Vice principal Heather Denny said: “The children did Norwich Primary proud with their brilliant performances. They were a joy to watch.”

Hethersett Academy took inspiration from a classic fairytale with their Cinderella-themed dance, while Jane Austen College brought a big top vibe to the stage to the soundtrack of Britney Spears’ ‘Circus’.

Jane Austen PE teacher Danni Birkin said: “The girls showed fantastic performance skills throughout and really enjoyed the experience and time on stage.”
