Remote learning: how it works

Published on 20/03/20

All of our schools are now closed to most children - but we want to make sure that every child's education continues. From Monday 23rd March this will happen through remote learning.

Remote learning is the way our students will study from home. Our dedicated teaching staff will still be available to support our students

Our schools and sixth forms have published information about how this will work on their individual websites.

Find out more below:

Who can attend school?

Our schools are only open for the children of key workers and vulnerable children. All other children will need to use remote learning and study from home. We don't know when we will return to normal - but we will keep you updated.

If you're not sure about whether you are a key worker, read our Q&A or visit the gov.uk website

Our Q&A also answers questions about exams and school closures. We hope you find it helpful during this difficult time.
