Students get creative at Dragon Hall

Published on 17/07/19

The students of Hethersett Academy took a trip to Dragon Hall’s National Centre for Writing for a day of creative writing.

A group of Year 9 students visited the National Centre for Writing at the fantastic medieval Dragon Hall in Norwich for a day of creative writing. They had the chance to explore and learn all about the history of the hall, including how it was constructed and the story of Anne Boleyn.

The students were then able to take part in an amazing workshop where they explored and questioned what a poem is, whilst looking at a range of stimuli to inspire their own creative writing.

As you can see from the photo, the students learnt a lot from their trip and are now very motivated to get creative!
