Hethersett Academy’s talented pupils took to the stage of a Norwich theatre for a packed evening of music and performing arts.

Over 100 musicians, dancers, and actors from Years 7 to 11 put on the school’s end-of-year showcase in front of a sell-out audience at the Norwich Playhouse on Monday, June 24.

The programme took in solo performances including Bach’s Prelude in C Minor and Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen, rock classics by Oasis and Catfish And The Bottlemen, hard-hitting drama, and a Cinderella-inspired dance routine.

The school’s choirs and orchestra came together for the grand finale medley from Les Miserables.

Head of creative arts Thomas Hilton said: “The students were a credit to the academy with their talent, enthusiasm, and discipline throughout the evening.”
