The pupil premium is an additional payment made to schools by Government to help raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and close the gap between them and their peers.
Our pupil premium report explains how that money has been used at Cobholm Primary Academy in the previous academic year and how we plan to spend the current year's allocation.
Most primary schools receive the sports premium, an additional payment from the Government that schools must use the funding to make additional and sustainable improvements to the quality of PE and sport they offer.
This includes work to:
- develop or add to the PE and sport activities offer
- make improvements now that will benefit pupils joining the school in future years
Details of how we have used the funds are in our sports premium report.
