Our uniform

At Hethersett Academy we would like our students to be smartly dressed at all times. It is the responsibility of all members of the Academy community, staff, students and parents to work together to help ensure the policy is adhered to.

Aims

  • To encourage a sense of community and a business-like approach to daily tasks both in and out of the Academy.
  • To ensure students are seen by themselves, staff, parents, visitors, and the wider community as being smartly dressed, consequently enhancing the image of the Academy for the benefit of all.
  • To offer an affordable, practical and safe range of Academy wear.
  • To promote inclusion.

Uniform sales

Our uniform is supplied by Stevensons - and can be ordered from the website, by phone on 01603 622355, or in the shop on Ber Street, Norwich (near John Lewis). The busy time for uniform sales is the end of August and early September when the shop deals with hundreds of telephone callers as well as walk-in shoppers. This leads to queues and occasionally to stock shortages in particular items and sizes. Our advice is to buy uniform early if possible. If your child has a growth spurt before term starts it is possible to exchange the uniform – full details are available from the shop.
