Welcome from the executive principal
Welcome to our academy, which provides the best possible education in a nurturing, happy environment.
Since joining Stradbroke in February 2015 I have been delighted with the rapid progress we have been able to achieve in both academic success and in the exciting improvements to the daily experience of every child at Stradbroke.
We have one goal: to give your child the highest standard of education and ensure they leave as well-rounded, independent learners ready to flourish at secondary school. We will support them in setting high expectations for their future and develop their approach to learning to ensure it is aspirational and leads to academic success.
My personal belief is that if it isn’t good enough for my own children it isn’t good enough for our pupils at Stradbroke. All staff go the extra mile to ensure every child feels safe, happy, and excited to develop a real love of learning which will stay with them for life. Our student council play a key role in decision-making and we take their views seriously.
Our core value of Supportive and Caring is shared by our committed families and wider community of volunteers who support school with a range of events throughout the year via our ‘Friends of Stradbroke’ group.
As a member of the Inspiration Trust we are fortunate to be supported in our journey to excellence and have recently benefited from significant improvements to our early years provision, creative outdoor play equipment, and state-of-the-art IT equipment for all children to enjoy.
Our innovative extended school day programme provides activities for all our older pupils four nights per week with 28 exciting activities on offer covering a range of sporting, musical, and cultural themes.
We are always delighted to meet parents for a tour of the academy to see our fabulous pupils at work; please contact the school office to make an appointment.
