Academy life

We have a brilliant campus just outside Norwich city centre, with enviable facilities for the arts, culture, and sports. The Academy opened in September 2015 but there has been a school on the site since 1958.

To help our pupils achieve, we have four core values which encapsulate all that we are trying to do.

With these touchstones constantly in mind, the whole school community - pupils, parents, and staff - can unite around our common aims to support and encourage each other.

Our values are:

Respect

We show respect to each other, and treat people how we would like them to treat us. We express our needs confidently, but we are willing to compromise to ensure everyone gets a fair shot.

Love of learning

Learning is at the heart of our school; it is why we are here. We learn from our teachers and from each other, and we share our knowledge to help each other.

Purpose

We know what we want to achieve, and we work hard towards it, both as individuals and as a community. We enjoy our time but we are not distracted from our goals.

Pursuit of excellence

We want to be the best we can be; in our academic work, in our sports teams, when we sing and act, and in the way we behave.
