Jane Austen College is an 11-19 secondary school. We currently have Years 7 through 10, plus sixth form, within the school and look forward to welcoming a new year group in September. Growing gradually is allowing us to create an exceptional school, with the highest of standards. We are an English specialist school, with an additional post-16 specialism in humanities and the arts. We are also partnered with Sir Isaac Newton Sixth Form – the country’s first maths and science specialist sixth form.
The successful candidate will be passionate about our vision of creating a truly excellent school that is characterised by intellectual rigour in every classroom; moral development of all students; and enrichment that broadens the school experience. They will be familiar with how to run a highly successful school, and capable both of setting strategy and implementing effectively.
