Feast of donations helps fight food poverty

Kind-hearted pupils at Great Yarmouth Charter Academy have helped to stop families in need from going hungry.
They donated food essentials including tins and packets, fresh fruit and vegetables, and dairy products, for families struggling to afford food.
Tribal Trust, which runs a food bank and soup kitchen in Great Yarmouth, thanked the generosity of pupils, families, and staff, as it collected the donated food.
The organisation posted on its Facebook page: “Thanks to this lovely food donation we were able to distribute two emergency food hampers to families who needed them.”
