Students and staff at Thetford Academy had a brush with fundraising success as they made over £300 for charity in a ‘Mad hair day’.
They wore silly styles and crazy colours to school on Friday, March 23 to raise funds for Break, which supports disadvantaged young people in East Anglia.
The grand total raised from donations and cake sales on the day was £333.
Thetford Academy is also supporting the GoGoHares sculpture project organised by Break, with the design of its very own hare to be revealed soon.
Assistant principal Heather Denny said: “Our students have really enjoyed getting involved in fundraising activities for this very worthy cause.”
