Dancers from Cromer Academy have waltzed away with first place at an inter-school dance competition.

Rosa Inacio and Jess Hume competed against students from Jane Austen College in Norwich, East Point Academy in Lowestoft, and Thetford Academy in the annual Inspiration Trust Dance Competition, hosted by Jane Austen College on Wednesday, January 31.

The teams showed off their fancy footwork in a variety of styles including street dance, contemporary, ballet, and tap.

Organiser Danni Birkin said: “The competition was a great success and all the dancers were fantastic.

“It was a tough decision, but Rosa and Jess showed such flair and clarity of movement that they had to be the winners.”
