Students from Thetford Academy have tried out powerhooping and wheelchair basketball at an event to promote careers in sports.
The group of Year 11 students took part in A Sporting Future For All at the UEA Sportspark in February.
The event explored a wide range of sporting careers, with expert talks on topics including sports rehabilitation, marketing, policy, and coaching, as well as the sports taster sessions.
Students were also able to talk to UEA undergraduates about their experience of studying sport-related subjects at university.
Year 11 student Konnor Dixon said: “The Sporting Future for All event really changed my views on studying sport at university; it is so much better than I had imagined.
“It was also a unique opportunity to try out activities for different abilities and interests.”
