Pupils at Stradbroke Primary Academy had a wizard time as they invited family members to a Harry Potter-themed story café.
The Year 5 classroom transformed into Hogwarts for an afternoon of spellbinding reading and activities on Tuesday, October 30.
After enjoying a reading from Harry Potter And The Philosopher’s Stone, the young witches and wizards and their grown-up helpers made their own wands and spellbooks.
Parent support advisor Sarah Kingston said: “We were delighted to welcome our families to this rather magical story café.
“Reading together as a family really helps to support children’s literacy and our popular story cafés are a great way for us to celebrate this.”
