Stradbroke Primary has been praised by the schools minister as one of the country's top primaries.
Number crunching of last summer's primary school tests has shown that Stradbroke is ranked in the top 3% of schools nationally for how much pupils improve while at the school.
An impressive 77% of pupils achieved the national standard in reading, writing, and mathematics in July - 24% higher than the national average.
In his letter, minister Nick Gibb said: "I would like to congratulate you, your staff, and your pupils for the very high level of progress pupils in your school are making.
"We want to ensure that every child has the necessary fluency in reading, writing, and mathematics to prepare them for a successful secondary school education and beyond, and your school has provided this.
"Thank you for your hard work and professionalism in producing such high standards and congratulations again to you and your staff for all you have achieved."
Executive principal Stephen Astley said: "This is well deserved recognition for all the hard work that our pupils and staff put in, and their dedication to learning. We have fantastic support too from the local community
"This round of tests was on a new, tougher, curriculum, so it is all the more impressive that our pupils continue to be among the best nationally."
