Children step into Christmas at Norwich Cathedral

Published on 03/12/18

Children from Norwich Primary Academy were the stars of the nativity scene when they visited Norwich Cathedral to learn about the meaning of Christmas.

The Year 1 pupils dressed as Mary, Joseph, kings, and shepherds as they gathered around the cathedral’s manger to hear the Christmas story.

They had a guided tour of the 900-year-old cathedral, enjoying its gorgeous Christmas decorations as well as its stunning architecture and stained glass windows.

Teacher Mrs Horne said: “The children were enthralled throughout the day and were commended for their brilliant behaviour.”
