Primary pupils make towering effort

Pupils at Norwich Primary Academy have built up their teamwork and construction skills in a national competition to make the tallest tower out of tap sticks.
The Reception pupils got busy building for the tap stick tower challenge run by Learn Play Grow, a UK-wide organisation which promotes education through play.
The best constructions from schools across Britain will be displayed in a gallery on the Learn Play Grow Facebook page after Easter, where the most-liked photos will win a trophy, money, and a fun play session for their school.
Teacher Helen Carr said: “The children had a lovely morning building the towers and really enjoyed getting stuck into the challenge.
“They showed great teamwork and ended up with some fantastic towers.”
