Festive friends drop in to Norwich Primary

Published on 11/12/17

Pupils at Norwich Primary Academy had some special visitors today when Father Christmas dropped by with his reindeer.

Children got to meet the famous present giver and two of his reindeer helpers when they spent the morning at the Clarkson Road school.

Each of the classes took turns to feed carrots to the reindeer, as well as meeting Father Christmas and receiving gifts of chocolates, sweets, and popcorn.

The event was organised by the school's Helen Carr who said: "Christmas is a very happy time for most people but for some of our children it can be more difficult.

"We wanted to make sure that they could all take part in the celebrations, and what better way than to meet Father Christmas and his reindeer?

"We are very grateful to Ben Burgess, Oyster Travel, Kettle Foods, Necton Management, Ashfords Grounds Maintenance, Kinnerton Confectionery, Sainsbury’s and QD Stores for supporting us with help and donations to make the event possible."
