Talented students from Norwich Primary Academy and Hethersett Academy made a song and dance in front of a packed house at a musicals-themed show.

The academies were among 13 schools taking part in the ‘Night At The Musicals’ dance show at Open in Norwich on Wednesday, February 15.

The evening was organised by the Norwich School Sport Partnership, with the aim of inspiring more children to become active through dance.

The children from Norwich Primary Academy unleashed their inner urchins for their rendition of 'You’ve Got To Pick A Pocket Or Two' from Oliver!

They were followed by a horror show from Hethersett Academy’s dancers, performing Michael Jackson’s 'Thriller'.

Norwich Primary Academy principal Tessa Holledge said: “This show was a great opportunity for our young performers to show off what they can do, and gain experience and confidence in front of a large crowd.

“Well done to all the talented children involved!”
