Jane Austen students had a belting time during a day of karate taster sessions.
Sensei Dave Lynskey from the Eastern Shotokan Karate Association guided the students through kihon (basics), kata (form), and kumite (sparring) training on Wednesday, April 25.
Several Jane Austen students already train with ESKA at its clubs across Norwich, including black belt Blake Spencer, who’s represented the club at national and international competitions.
Students can get a month’s free training at the club by picking up a leaflet from the PE department.
Head of PE Ben Atkins said: “The students had a great time, and thoroughly enjoyed learning a new set of skills.”
