Two Hewett Academy students have won places in the regional heat of a national photography competition.

Tyler Langham, who’s in Year 11, and Year 13 student Maika Medina took second and third places in the Norfolk heat of the Rotary Young Photography Of The Year competition with their photos on the theme of ‘A different perspective’.

They will now go through to the district heats, competing against young people from across East Anglia for a place in the national final.

Hewett Academy photography teacher Francesca Cant said: “Tyler and Maika’s work shows technical ability, imagination, and style.

“Congratulations to them both, and we wish them luck in the next round.”
