Published on 11/07/17

Artwork by a student from The Hewett Academy has taken pride of place in an exhibition at Norwich Cathedral showcasing the city's talented young artists.

Year 9 student Sam Ringwood’s work is part of a special display in the Hostry by students from Norwich Drawing Club, run by the Royal Drawing School.

The club offers children aged ten to 14 weekly drawing tuition and mentoring from professional artists.

Art teacher Amy Lee said: “Sam is a dedicated and hardworking artist, with an absolute commitment to improving his observations and skills.

“He demonstrates a real talent and enthusiasm in drawing and I am delighted that he is exhibiting these achievements in such a public forum.”

The exhibition continues until Saturday, July 15.
