Film screening to spread positivity for every body
Published on 16/11/17
A film encouraging people to love their bodies, whatever their shape and size, is set to be screened at East Point Academy.
Embrace is a documentary by Australian filmmaker Taryn Brumfitt, who founded the global Body Image Movement after struggling to feel good about her body following the birth of her third child.
The film has been screened around the world and is coming to Lowestoft thanks to a partnership between local campaigner Jane Page and Lowestoft Rising, a public sector organisation that aims to improve the quality of life for people living in the town.
The screening takes place at East Point Academy on Monday, December 11 at 7.30pm (doors open 7pm). Entry is free and open to all, although the film is rated 12A and not recommended for under-11s.
