Published on 23/01/17

Students at East Point Academy will be donning their fedoras and flapper dresses for the school production of the popular gangster musical Bugsy Malone.

Written for child actors and first released as a film in 1976, the musical follows the adventures of boxing promoter Bugsy and wannabe singer Blousey Brown in Prohibition-era New York City.

Charlie Read and Erin Halliday will be in the starring roles, ably supported by a cast of East Point’s talented young performers.

The shows take place in the Britten Hall at East Point Academy on Monday 6, Tuesday 7, Wednesday 8, and Thursday 9 February. All performances start at 7.30pm with doors open from 7pm.

Tickets are £5 and can be booked by calling 01502 525300 or emailing epacontactus@inspirationtrust.org.
