Explore our planned new sports centre

Published on 12/04/18

Find out more about our joint project to create a new sports centre at a special event on April 16.

Cromer Academy has joined up with North Norfolk District Council and the Cromer Lawn Tennis and Squash Association to create a multi-million pound new sports hub.

The purpose-built hub would feature three year round indoor tennis courts. a 25 station gym with an area for free weights and fitness, changing rooms, toilets, a reception area, a social area and viewing gallery, and a versatile space for fitness classes, social activities and meetings.

As part of the process, the council will share early proposals for the facility with the local community at an event on Monday, April 16, from 1pm until 8pm at the Cromer Lawn Tennis and Squash Club on Norwich Road.

Parents and students are encouraged to visit the event to find out more about the facilities, meet with the project architects, and give their views.

More details of the project can be found online at https://www.north-norfolk.gov.uk/tasks/projects/community-sports-hub/
