Festival is music to children’s ears

Musicians from Cromer Academy have struck a chord with their performance at a school for children with special educational needs.

The students played and sang at Strandfest, a summer arts festival at Sidestrand Hall School in Overstrand, on Friday, June 30.

Their set included ‘Somewhere Over The Rainbow’, ‘Can’t Help Falling In Love’, and Harry Styles’ hit ‘Sweet Creature’, alongside instrumental pieces on classical guitar and piano.

Music teacher Nicola Hough said: “The festival was enjoyed by everyone who attended, and it was a great opportunity for our students to contribute to a fantastic event in their local community.”
