Caring children help families in need

Kind-hearted pupils and families at Cobholm Primary Academy have been doing their bit to fight food poverty.
As the school celebrated Harvest Festival in October, pupils brought in tins, packets, and jars to be donated to families in need through the Salvation Army food bank.
In a special harvest assembly the children explored the importance of helping people less fortunate than them.
Principal Louise Scott said: “Thanks to the generosity of our school community, we are able to lend a helping hand to families who are having a tough time.”
