Fairytale celebration for World Book Day

Published on 23/03/18

A cast of fairytale characters filled Charles Darwin Primary's classrooms as the school celebrated World Book Day 2018.

Pupils and staff came to school on Friday, March 9 dressed as their favourite literary characters and shared the stories that they love the most.

The children's fantastic costumes were inspired by much-loved stories including Little Red Riding Hood, the Harry Potter series, Alice's Adventures In Wonderland, and Zog.

World Book Day is an annual event which promotes reading and books in schools across the country.
