Sir Isaac leads strong A Level results

Students at Sir Isaac Newton Sixth Form have led a strong year of results for the Inspiration Trust's sixth forms.

The Norwich maths and science specialist college saw a third of students' grades at A* or A, including 46% of maths grades. In computing 35% of  grades were at the top level, more than double the national average of 17%.

James Plumstead and Douglas Brown both earned four A* grades, both taking maths, further maths, chemistry, and physics.

At Jane Austen College the sixth form's second year of full A Level results saw a 83% A*-C pass rate, rising to 100% in art, English language, and history. 

The Hewett Academy saw an impressive inaugural year for its BTEC Sport & Exercise Science course, with a 100% pass rate and an average grade of Merit. At A Level, all art and all philosophy students gained a B grade or better, with overall 61% of grades at A*-C.

Thetford Academy saw good results across the curriculum, with 100% A*-C grades in performing arts, ICT, and health and social care. Two thirds of students will be going on to their top university choice, thanks to a 92% overall pass rate.
